Senior Class Updates- Class of 2026
Welcome to your senior year! Mr. Wotherspoon is the Senior Class Advisor for the Class of 2026. Any questions about this information can be directed to him at bwotherspoon@artsacad.net.
Important Dates:
•Senior Parking Spot Painting- Friday, September 12th after school until 7pm and Saturday, September 13th from 10am-2pm.
•Senior Sunrise- Monday September 15th, 6:30am (rain date September 16th). Senior Sunset, May 21st, details to come.
•Start of Year Meeting for seniors and parents- Thursday, September 18th, 6pm
•State Testing – April 9th & 10th. Seniors will get swag, discuss prom and graduation on Thursday. Friday will be a senior trip to the movies.
• Prom – Friday May 1st, 2026 Infinity Hall – $65.00 each
• Finals
Tuesday May 26th – 7th hour
Wednesday May 27th – 5th and 6th hour
Thursday May 28th – 3rd and 4th hour
Friday May 29th – 2nd and 1st hour (Seniors last day and clap out)
• Graduation Rehearsal- Thursday, June 4th, 2026 5:00-6:00pm
• Graduation – Friday, June 5th, 2026 Arts Academy Field 6:30PM
• Alumni Trip- June 3rd, 2026
A day trip to Cedar Point. This is an alumni event and no permission slips will be
required. Transportation not provided. Alumni are to purchase their own ticket. Mr.
Wotherspoon oversees the alumni association and invites all alumni and the Class of
2026 to meet at the Pointe!
Senior Dues:
Senior Dues will be $130.00 1st payment DUE November 3rd, 2025. Payment can be made online at artsacad.net by clicking on e-Funds for Schools Dues cover cap &gown, tassel, t-shirt, sweater, lawn sign, and 5 tickets for graduation (10 maximum additional tickets will be sold during the week of Senior finals.)
Senior Prank:
Chosen by the seniors, approved by Mr. Wotherspoon.
