College visits are starting here at AAW. Please see the counseling tab on the AAW website for more information and to sign up. Students must register to attend.
VISUAL ARTS:
If anyone is interested in joining the NAHS (national art honor society) please see Ms. Hemmingsen in the Art Room. Also, See Ms. Hemmingsen if you are interested in submitting artwork for the Fraser fall festival (October 5th)!!
STUDENT COUNCIL:
Anyone who is applying or has applied for Student Council. All applications must be in by Wednesday, September 25th, by 3:30. NO EXCEPTIONS! There will be a meeting on Thursday for those who have applied to discuss the election process. Please be in attendance for this meeting. The first official Student Council meeting will be Thursday, October 3rd.
ASSEMBLY:
Our GSA assembly will be on October 4th. If you are interested in performing, please pick up an audition packet (outside room 104), complete the required forms, and audition with your corresponding arts teacher no later than Thursday, September 26th. Please see Mrs. Collins in Room 106, or Mr. Wotherspoon in room 207 if you have any questions.
SCHOOL TRIP:
As you many know, AAW is going to Japan this coming summer! We want to inform you that the price is going up October 1st. If you want to go you should sign up soon! Please see Mr. Moss (room 208) or Mr. Campbell (room 212) for more details.
