AAW PTA:
Suckers grams will be available for purchases at lunch on February 12th and 13th. One dollar includes a gourmet sucker and specially delivered message.
STUDENT COUNCIL:
Student Council is holding a penny wars between the grades starting from January 27th-February 13 during all lunch hours. The winning grade will win an ice cream social. All proceeds will be donated to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).
ATTENTION STUDENTS: AAW’s Annual Black Cultural Assembly will be held Friday, February 7th. If you are interested in being a performer, auditions will be held after school on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (February 3-5) from 3:30-4:30 PM and on Wednesday, February 5th during both lunch periods in room 112. If you are interested in auditioning, please pick up an assembly form from the bulletin board outside room 104. Your audition packet must be completed in order to audition.
LOST AND FOUND:
The lost and found bench near the office is getting overloaded. Be sure to check it if you’ve lost something near and dear to your heart, or a coat. The bench will be emptied on Friday, so get your stuff today!
SCHEDULE CHANGES:
The second semester schedule change request form is closed. We will continue to evaluate submitted requests throughout this week and hope to finalize schedules by this Friday (02/07), so please be sure to check schedules in PowerSchool and Unified Classroom regularly for possible changes. If you have questions about your change, please respond to the email you received with your concern/need.
REMINDER:
No food or drinks are allowed in classrooms, other than water.
Also, if you have lunch brought to you by a parent, you may pick it up at your assigned lunchtime. No exceptions. No other food deliveries are allowed.
