STUDENT COUNCIL:
The war of pennies has been extended into this week!
During all lunches, there will be a jug for each grade. Fill it up with pennies! However, dollars, quarters, dimes, and nickels count against the pennies. For example, if the freshmen have 25 pennies in their jug, and a senior puts a quarter in the freshmen’s jug, the quarter takes away all 25 pennies that the freshmen have.
The class that has the most pennies will win an ice cream social!
Also, the next school dance isn’t too far away, please be on the lookout for more information! Be listening to announcements, checking the Arts Academy Facebook page, student council Instagram site, and Dr. Mitchell’s newsletter!
ASSEMBLY:
Our next assembly will be on Friday, February 21st. If you are interested in performing, please pick up an audition packet (outside room 104), complete the required forms, and audition with your corresponding arts teacher no later than Wednesday, February 19th. Please see Mrs. Collins in Room 106 if you have any questions.
REMINDER:
No food or drinks are allowed in classrooms, other than water.
Also, if you have lunch brought to you by a parent, you may pick it up at your assigned lunchtime, not before. No exceptions. No other food deliveries are allowed.
LATE PASSES:
Students are late as of 8:30 am HOWEVER, they do not need a late pass until 8:45 am. If you arrive between 8:30 and 8:45, if you arrive at 8:46 or later, you need to get a pass from the office!
