VISUAL ARTS:
Attention all National Art Honors Society students. If you are in NAHS our first meeting is today (Thursday the 26th) during lunch A and B.
STUDENT COUNCIL:
There is a meeting TODAY for those who have applied for student council to discuss the election process. Please be in attendance for this meeting. The first official Student Council meeting will be Thursday, October 3rd.
Please do not rip down or vandalize any posters that may be hanging up on the walls. Per Dr. Mitchell, if you are caught vandalizing or tearing down posters, there will be consequences.
ASSEMBLY:
Our GSA assembly will be on October 4th. If you are interested in performing, please pick up an audition packet (outside room 104), complete the required forms, and audition with your corresponding arts teacher no later than TODAY 9/26/19!!!! Please see Mrs. Collins in Room 106, or Mr. Wotherspoon in room 207 if you have any questions.
SCHOOL TRIP:
As you many know, AAW is going to Japan this coming summer! We want to inform you that the price is going up October 1st. If you want to go you, should sign up soon! Please see Mr. Moss (room 208) or Mr. Campbell (room 212) for more details.
SPORTS:
Girls interested in playing basketball — see Mr. Campbell in Room 212 for information.
CREATIVE WRITING:
Calling all Slam Poets: See Mr. Campbell in Room 212 if you are interested in performing in the sixth annual Slam in the Woods, all-AAW Performance Poetry Competition.
