• Senior dates to remember: -Next week -May 22nd through 25th Final Exams -June 1st Graduation Rehearsal -June 2nd GRADUATION –June 15th SCHOOL PICNIC
–Seniors: after your last final, remember to empty your locker, leave the combination lock on the locker, turn in any laptops, or school equipment you may have checked out, and we will see you at graduation!
• Hangout dates to remember: The Hangout will be closed on June 2nd, and on the last day of school, June 15th. The Hangout closes at 3:00 p.m. on June 13th & 14th.
• AAW’s annual performance poetry competition, Slam in the Woods, will be held after school at 3:30 on Tuesday, May 23rd in room 212. If you want to perform your original poetry in the slam, please see Mr. Campbell to sign up.
• Do you write stories, poems, or comics? Submit them for publication in the annual AAW Creative Writing Anthology. This is open to ALL students at AAW. You do not need to be in a Creative Writing class to participate. Accepting all genres. Submissions are due tomorrow, Friday, May 19th. See Mrs. Francis or join the TEAMS page for more information.
• CONGRATS to all the staff and students for an amazing, awesome, exciting, performance at last night’s EOA. Shout out to all the art teachers, parents, and a special shout out to Mr. Wotherspoon, for all they did to make this happen. Great job everyone!
